Do not go to bed with wet hair !!!

boismymy

Sleeping with wet hair extensions is a big no-no. It's definitely one of the worst mistakes you can make, and here's why:

 * Tangling and Matting: Wet hair is much more fragile and prone to tangling. When you sleep, you toss and turn, causing the wet extensions to rub against each other and your natural hair, leading to nasty knots and matting. This can be difficult to fix and may even require professional help.

 * Damage to the Extensions: Hair extensions, especially those with bonds or tape, can be weakened by prolonged exposure to moisture. Sleeping with wet extensions can cause the bonds to loosen or the tape to lose its stickiness, leading to slippage or even the extensions falling out.

 * Scalp Issues: A damp scalp is a breeding ground for bacteria and fungus. Sleeping with wet extensions can create a humid environment on your scalp, increasing the risk of irritation, itching, and even infections.

 * Uncomfortable and Unhygienic: Sleeping with wet hair can feel uncomfortable and even give you a chill. Plus, it's not very hygienic as it can create a damp and potentially moldy environment, especially if you don't wash your bedding frequently.

So, what should you do instead?

 * Always make sure your extensions are completely dry before going to bed. If you must wash your hair close to bedtime, use a hairdryer to thoroughly dry your extensions and your natural hair.

 * Gently brush your hair before bed to remove any tangles or knots.

 * Consider braiding your hair loosely to minimize movement and friction while you sleep.

By following these tips, you can keep your hair extensions in great condition and avoid the problems associated with sleeping with wet hair.
